A family-run business.
The Verey family have been farming at Manor Farm, Bourton for four generations. David and Ann Verey have been breeding Suffolk and Charolais lambs, for the markets, for the past 30 years, in addition to breeding and fattening Aberdeen Angus cattle for supply to one of the national supermarkets.
David Verey

About David
Owner and partner in The Farm, along with his wife Ann move from dairy into sheep farming in the 80s and converted the dairy barns into office units in the early 2000s.
Ann Verey
Baker + Farm Co-Owner
About Ann
Owner and partner in The Farm, along with Dave Verey establish the sheep flock at Manor Farm and the other diversifications over the past 30 years.
Tim Verey
Farmer + Butcher + Co-Founder
About Tim
Partner in the family business. Worked on the farm since leaving school. Along with wife Helen and brother-in-law, Dave introduced pigs to The Farm, followed by The Butchery and The Larder Café.
Helen Verey
Farmer + Baker + Co-Founder
About Helen
A qualified nurse, during maternity leave in 2016, Helen helped establish The Butchery and The Larder Café, from going out to markets and events selling sausages and promoting the business, to getting The Larder Café up and running. She now works alongside Fiona on the design and creative side to achieve the ambience for The Larder Café and pop-up event nights. And makes cakes on a regular basis to be sold in The Larder Café.
Dave Gibson
Chef + Carpenter + Co-Founder
About Dave
Trained Carpenter, Dave has turned his hand to all the tasks that were needed to help get the butchery and The Larder Café up and running. From making the sausages to building the structures, from cooking the breakfast to help to keep it all maintained.
Fiona Gibson
Baker + Co-Founder
About Fiona
Fiona Gibson (née Verey) has taken on helping with the creative, design and social media side of the business. Tasks, from designing menus and posters to decorating The Larder Café for the seasonal themes and our pop-up event nights. As well as baking and making things on a regular basis for The Larder Café.
Lynn Gibson

About Lynn
Trained Chef, Lynn joined The Larder Café in 2017 and has helped take The Larder Café from ideas on paper to a fully working kitchen and food establishment. Doing what she loves best and being creative with what produce the farm has to offer throughout the seasons.
Kate Wise

About Kate
Front of house and events co-ordinator, Kate joined The Larder Café in 2017 she has taken on the day to day running and has helped build on and maintain the level of service that we wanted to achieve for the café, also planning and delivering the events we have throughout the year.
Andy Tomlinson

About Andy
Having been doing the occasional pop-up taster evening menu Andy joined The Larder Café full-time in the summer of 2019 bringing with him his culinary skills and knowledge that will help push The Larder Café forward and offering more exciting things in food and farming. Having worked at some of the UK top restaurants under the likes of Simon Rogan, his use of what we have to hand in around The Farm will be delighting the local and surrounding community for many seasons to come.

Since joining The Larder Café back in 2018 Lou has become a most valued and cherished team member, bringing with her knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry and personality unrivalled by anyone in The Larder Café. Should you be passing The Larder Café around Halloween keep an eye out as she may be seen flying in on a broomstick and she always has a stone or 2 in her pocket for when they are needed.
